Description

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services for healthcare data management and reporting systems. • Collaborate with the Data Solutions team to ensure software applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability. • Integrate software solutions with healthcare databases and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR). • Conduct software performance analysis, identify bottlenecks, and provide innovative solutions for system improvements. • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment. • Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement. • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly those related to healthcare software systems and data solutions. • Ensure that software solutions adhere to healthcare privacy and security regulations. • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, providing technical support as needed. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements. • Perform other duties as assigned by management to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in the healthcare industry. • Proven experience with healthcare data systems, including knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data standards. • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar. • Expertise in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, etc.) and cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, or GCP). • Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture. • Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data security standards. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
