📋 Description
• Partner with the Create product and engineering teams address privacy concerns throughout the product lifecycle. • Partner with our corporate services teams to address privacy concerns and implement craft scalable compliance processes for compliance. • Advise teams on the legal requirements of online safety laws including the Digital Services Act and the U.K. Online Safety Act. • Lead the legal response to security incidents, advising on obligations, and providing guidance on mitigation and resolution efforts. • Stay ahead of legal developments and industry trends in martech and digital technology to advise on best practices and emerging risks.
🎯 Requirements
• A working understanding of worldwide privacy regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA. • You are flexible, well organized, and have the ability and desire to work independently. • Excellent judgment in balancing legal risks with business strategy and a proven ability to learn new areas of law and function independently in a demanding fast-paced environment. • 3+ years experience in a law firm, government agencies, and/or in-house legal department working on tech transactions, preferably with cloud-based technology companies (either in-house or as outside counsel). A member in good standing with the bar in the jurisdiction in which you will practice.
