📋 Description

• Updater, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design and develop high-quality, scalable solutions while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. • This role requires a proven track record of delivering robust software in a fast-paced environment, alongside exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement. • You will own end-to-end development of key features and play a critical role in shaping our products and technical practices. • Architect, design, and implement new product features using modern coding standards and best practices. • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing systems for maximum performance and reliability. • Work closely with Product, Design, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Participate in regular stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and timely delivery. • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, promoting high engineering standards. • Conduct thorough code reviews and offer constructive feedback to peers. • Provide guidance and coaching to junior and mid-level engineers. • Lead by example, adopting best practices, exploring new technologies, and fostering team cohesion. • Research and propose emerging tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance workflow and performance. • Drive improvements in the software development lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, and optimization. • Create and maintain technical documentation for system designs and features. • Champion knowledge-sharing across the engineering organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript) and deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-based architectures. • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and CI/CD pipelines. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for tackling complex technical challenges under tight deadlines. • Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working in diverse, cross-functional teams. • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and pivot to new technologies, tools, and best practices.
