We obsessively seek out elegant, robust ways to enable our customers to find, acknowledge, and remediate cyber risk. • With UpGuard, organizations leverage our security expertise and software to automate what was once laborious, spreadsheet-driven processes. • Our Product team at UpGuard comprises of our Product Management, Product Support, Engineering, Design, Data Leaks Detection, and Third Party Risk Management Services. • We're looking for an experienced VP of Engineering to grow our engineering team and mature our engineering practices. • Reporting to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), the VP Engineering owns the strategic direction, execution, and performance of the engineering organization.
🎯 Requirements
• Prior leadership experience in a scale-up tech company. • Experience in product-forward organizations with strong product engineering practices. • Strong foundational software engineering capability. • Exceptional people management, coaching, and mentoring capability. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Experience in enterprise B2B environments. • A background or familiarity with cybersecurity. • Exposure or experience with AI, machine learning, and/or research-oriented engineering. • Prior experience within Big Tech or similarly sophisticated technical environments.
