Description

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced systems using Node.js, Next.js, Prisma, and PostgreSQL. • Collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate front-end components seamlessly with the back-end services. • Architect and optimize database structures using PostgreSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval. • Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure to deploy and manage robust back-end services. • Demonstrate proficiency in Linux command-line interface (CLI) for server management and administration. • Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze project requirements and provide strategic technical insights.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years of development focused on React.js, Next.js, and PostgreSQL. • Proven experience building an enterprise system at scale. • Some experience with cloud services, preferably AWS or Azure. • English proficiency is a MUST (A minimum of C1 Level English). • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills. • Experience with early-stage companies and startup environments is a plus. • Excited to work in a startup environment; adaptable to changing priorities. • Able to work on entire features, from concept through to production deployment ensuring timely completion of features. • Bachelor's degree or higher, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field would be very desirable. • Bonus: Familiarity with serverless architecture and microservices. • Bonus: Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker. • Bonus: Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles.
