Description

• Execute a variety of initiatives led by the Internal Communications team • Provide strategic input on messaging and positioning • Identify and support projects that improve the Internal Communications team • Support company-wide meetings and content management • Regularly assess the effectiveness of Upwork’s internal communications channels

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing comprehensive technical strategic communications programs • Excellent project management skills, managing multiple tasks with changing requirements • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills • Extensive successful writing and editing experience • Demonstrated skill in proactively building relationships with executives • Ability to work closely with executives on communication development • Ability to develop advanced concepts and solutions to complex problems • Experience planning video scripts and managing informal video creation a plus • Maintains a calm presence when dealing with issues
