• Upwork is looking for an experienced Senior/Lead Flutter Engineer to join our Flutter Platform Team, where we are at the forefront of revolutionizing mobile app development. • As a Flutter Developer, you will have a key role in promoting company-wide acceptance of Flutter for delivering exceptional mobile experiences. • Work in partnership with our skilled engineers and designers to create state-of-the-art applications that redefine industry benchmarks.
Requirements
• 7+ years of professional software development experience. • 2 years of experience developing and delivering Flutter based apps. • 5 years of experience developing mobile apps natively in Android. • Experience of working in distributed global software development teams. • Good understanding of state management, Flutter flavors, and app architecture. • Self-directed and challenge-driven: a high degree of self-motivation and a keen interest in autonomously addressing and solving complex problems, with a focus on innovative and effective solutions. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: outstanding ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear, concise, and productive interactions. • Strong command of English. • Coordinate with the team during core hours (8:00 to 11:00 am PT), with occasional availability until 12:00 pm PT for critical matters.
