📋 Description

• US Federal Solutions is seeking a Contract Closeout Specialist to support a client. • Responsible for timely and accurate closeout of government contracts. • Perform cost and price analysis for final closeout costs. • Monitor aged payables and ensure purchase orders are properly managed. • Communicate and resolve issues for efficient closeout. • Prepare and submit final invoices for closeout. • Review contract modifications to maintain accurate documentation. • Ensure proper termination of subcontracts and purchase orders. • Transfer or dispose of government property according to regulations. • Mentor junior team members.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field • At least 3 years of experience in contract closeout, preferably with the VA • Knowledge of FMS, IPPS, and Vista • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as it applies to contracting and procurement • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills
