Description
• Serve as a technical resource for electrical power distribution operation. • Conduct site walkdowns and collect data for Arc Flash Study. • Update and create Arc Flash Study Project Files in SKM Power Tools. • Generate reports for short circuit analysis and arc flash analysis. • Review and approve engineering drawings and plans. • Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance to manufacturing plants.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field preferred. • 15 years of experience in electrical engineering. • Power distribution design from utility feed to low voltage substations. • Knowledge of medium voltage protection strategies and motor control. • Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and National Electrical Safety Code (NESC). • Proficient in electrical CAD design and development of wiring block diagrams. • Strong written & verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and time management skills.
