📋 Description
• Utilities One is seeking an experienced Data Center Design & Construction Consultant to provide expert guidance on the planning, design, and execution of data center construction projects. • This consultant will work closely with our internal teams and external partners to ensure that projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest industry standards. • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both data center design and construction and will play a key role in advising on best practices, risk mitigation, and process optimization. • This is a 1099 contract role, requiring flexibility to engage with stakeholders, provide strategic recommendations, and oversee critical project phases as needed. • Type: 1099 Independent Contractor. • Duration: Project-based, with the potential for long-term engagement. • Location: Remote with travel as required. • Compensation: Competitive hourly or project-based rate.
🎯 Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred). • Experience: 10+ years in data center design and construction, with significant experience as a consultant or project advisor. • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Procore, and construction best practices. • Consulting Skills: Proven ability to assess project challenges, provide solutions, and drive efficiency. • Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with LEED, Uptime Institute standards, and local building codes.
