📋 Description
• UWorld is looking for experienced college professors with a strong teaching background in sociology to develop video lectures for students preparing to take the MCAT. • This is an independent contractor position, where you will work on a team of video lecturers in several disciplines to create video content that accompanies UWorld’s educational materials. • UWorld is a highly collaborative, creative, and employee-centric environment that provides opportunities to educators who are passionate about teaching the next generation of professionals from all disciplines. • Reports to the Team Lead of Video Content in the creation of MCAT video lectures • Write cohesive scripts and develop slideshows for video lectures • Receive and apply constructive feedback on video lectures • Work with video production team to deliver a finished product • Collaborate with management to ensure project deadlines are met • As needed, come to our studio to record video lectures
🎯 Requirements
• Master’s degree or higher in sociology or a related field • Teaching experience at the undergraduate level (2+ years preferred) • Experience making educational videos or lectures (1+ year) • Experience in science communication is a plus
