Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to support your health, financial security, and work-life balance. •JOB TITLE: Research Project Manager for Hawai’i VINE Project •JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking an experienced biologist to lead a field project on Oʻahu, Hawai’i as part of the Hawaiʻi VINE (Vertebrate Introductions and Novel Ecosystems) Project.

🎯 Requirements

•Education: M.S. degree in biology, natural resources management, wildlife biology or related field •Experience: 2 years of field experience •Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements: Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy. •Desired Qualifications: •Previous supervisory experience of field crews •Previous work experience in Hawaiʻi, particularly on plants •Previous experience working with birds, ideally with the experience to be a subpermittee on a BBL permit •Demonstrated clear, articulate, and respectful written and oral communication skills •Experience and demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and as a team •Effective time management skills, clear organization and prioritization of time-sensitive tasks •Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office •Patience and humor when it comes to dealing with logistics
