• Vail Health has become the world’s most advanced mountain healthcare system. • The Senior Healthcare Interface Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining healthcare interfaces between different healthcare systems and applications. • Collaborate with healthcare vendors, systems analysts, and project managers to design and develop healthcare interfaces. • Analyze business requirements and design technical solutions to meet them. • Develop and maintain interface specifications, design documents, and troubleshooting documents. • Implement, test, and deploy healthcare interfaces according to industry standards and best practices. • Troubleshoot interface issues and provide timely resolutions. • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, HL7, DICOM, and FHIR. • Provide technical guidance and support to systems analysts and vendors throughout the interface development lifecycle. • Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in healthcare interface design and development. • 7 years of experience with healthcare information systems, such as EHRs, practice management systems, and medical imaging systems. • Strong knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA, HL7, DICOM, and FHIR preferred. • Proficiency in interface development tools and languages, such as Corepoint, Python, HL7, DICOM, SQL and FHIR preferred. • Must have a positive attitude, a motivation to learn new Healthcare IT / IS systems, and be self-motivated. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
