Description

• The Director of Accounting oversees accounting operations, ensuring compliance, enhancing processes, and driving strategic growth through effective financial management. • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other relevant financial laws and regulations. • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits. • Enhance the company’s financial systems and tools for scalable growth. • Provide leadership and mentoring to the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a CPA • 10+ years of experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Experience with financial software systems (Netsuite and other standalone P2P tools) and advanced proficiency in Excel
