📋 Description
•Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the accounting department •Oversee month-end and year-end close processes •Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and relevant financial laws •Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets •Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audits •Enhance company’s financial systems and tools for scalable growth •Provide leadership and mentoring to the accounting team •Support the Head of Accounting in strategic initiatives
🎯 Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a CPA •10+ years of experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role •Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team •In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls •Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy •Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment •Experience with financial software systems (Netsuite and other standalone P2P tools) and advanced proficiency in Excel
