📋 Description
• Oversee and ensure compliance with GAAP, ASC 606, and other relevant standards in all revenue accounting activities. • Evaluate, interpret, and document complex customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatments. • Develop, implement, and maintain revenue accounting policies, processes, and controls. • Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities related to revenue, billing, and collections. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of revenue-related reports. • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing revenue accounting team. • Drive process improvements to optimize revenue accounting and billing workflows. • Serve as the primary point of contact for revenue accounting in audits.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a CPA • 10+ years of experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Experience with financial software systems (Netsuite) and advanced proficiency in Excel
