Description
• At Vanta, you will be responsible for technical accounting activities and accounting research. • Participate in close-related activities and ensure complete and accurate financials. • Research technical accounting guidance and prepare/update accounting memos as needed. • Prepare calculations for journal entries and reconciliations related to various accounting treatments. • Partner with Accounting management to provide guidance on ad-hoc projects. • Assist in the preparation of audited financial statements and disclosures.
Requirements
• 5+ years of technical accounting experience • Prior experience as a Big 4 auditor and technical accountant at a software company • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB standards, and SOX/Internal controls • Extreme attention to detail and ability to simultaneously research discrepancies and solve problems • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Be proactive and have a strong desire for success • Experience in Netsuite a plus
