📋 Description

• This staff engineer will advise junior, mid-level, and senior engineers. • Lead the effort of setting direction for the team. • Ship high-quality work with best practices (proper testing, rollout plan, and monitoring). • Propose solutions with clear deliverables and milestones. • The engineer will have advanced programming skills, natural leadership, creativity, great communication, and the ability to influence engineering culture, like adopt latest/best coding practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Provide mentorship and assistance to teammates. • Contribute technical requirements to jira cards for architecture & infrastructure items. • Production deployments and coordinating releases amongst products. • Knowledge of system infrastructure and ability to contribute to infrastructure updates/architecture. • Pipeline management for development, QA, and production environments. • Merge responsibilities. • Provide guidance on requirements to other engineers/teams when necessary. • Actively participate in backlog refinement in order to help the team determine best solution. • Enforce and implement coding best practices. • Complete development tasks on time with exceptional attention to quality, performance, best practices, and coding standards. • Document progress, discussions, and scope changes in Jira or guru. • Presenting architectural designs, technical decisions, and coding implementation. • Initial devops infrastructure setup and coordination. • Own the most difficult tasks and document the solution. • Work with the quality assurance team to resolve defects found during sprints. • Be responsible, reliable and responsive. • Exemplify the values of Vantaca at work, every day.
