📋 Description
• This is a remote position based in the USA. • Vantage is looking for an Electrical Engineer to be part of the Innovation Engineering team. • Assist in design of electrical systems – MV/LV power systems, generators, switchgears, Uninterruptible Power Supply and various research and development efforts around microgrid and other distributed energy sources. • Assist in the development of associated standards and specifications, to enable the establishment of a procurement program. • Regular collaboration and coordination will be required with architects, other engineering disciplines, procurement, and facility operations team. • You will work with the regional design and execution teams to ensure that new standards are established, and existing standards are implemented and coordinate any enhancements required to be incorporated into the standard design and specifications.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, from an accredited university or college • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred. • 2-5 years of experience with data center design with strong knowledge of electrical systems, distributed energy resources, UPS, backup generators and other critical infrastructure. • Proficient in REVIT, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, AmpCalc and ETAP modeling software. • Working knowledge of all building and fire codes ordinances. • National and international travel is required and is expected to be 10 to 15% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
