Description

• Work on building and enhancing a secure messaging app • Build new features while maintaining continuous delivery to production • Work with an Agile team to handle specs driven by both internal needs and customer requests • Work from home position • Use MVVM architecture and JetPack • Understand REST, JSON, Websockets, and Retrofit • Troubleshoot complex problems

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Android Development, computer science, information technology or related field • Passionate about user experience as well as Architecture implementation & Android UI/X and Development Patterns • Experience with kotlin as well as Java • Understanding of REST, JSON, Websockets & Retrofit • Understanding of full mobile application design, development, and deployment lifecycle • Experience in Agile setting using Jira, Bitbucket, Git Flow, and Git version control • Strong troubleshooting skills • Knowledge of Encryption at either a network or database level, Dependency Injection & Dagger, Android Room and Database Architecture, Job Scheduling, CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, AppCenter, CircleCI or similar would be a plus
