Description
• Development, monitoring and maintenance FP&A related reports, performance dashboards and data analytics, which directly support the goals and objectives of the business • Execute analytical deep dives to get business insides and drive for actions • Specify, design, implement and document reporting and tool solutions that integrate consistently into the existing landscape. • Technical and functional testing of new developments • Work with business to define and execute extension and implementation of new reports or tools • Provide support to the FP&A team and train users on day-to-day basis. • Work closely with users to determine issues and propose solutions • Create or support IT in the ETL process to ensure high quality reports • Support master data repository to have global definitions and standards across Varian • Translates requirements into enterprise-wide system solutions • Conducts analysis of systems specifications and uses the latest analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes • Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a focus on business or economics; MBA with focus on finance and accounting preferred • 10+ years of experience in an international company is a related position • Experience in leading cross-functional projects and task forces as well as the ability to simultaneously manage & prioritize multiple high priority projects • Strong understanding of financial and operational accounting • Experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems, as well as preferably advanced knowledge of BI tools such as Qlik Sense / QlikView, Jedox, etc. • Very good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) • Proven leadership skills in personnel management and team development • Fluent in English
