• Responsible for aligning the future state enterprise information architecture with enterprise strategic goals • Collaborates with analytics leadership and analytics engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts • Define standardized data models to support data driven decision making • Oversees data models built by analytics engineers and analysts • Establishment and execution of the roadmap for information delivery and management • Lead development of standardized data models that are efficient and easy to use • Provide data architecture thought leadership to cross-functional teams • Apply business strategy while driving technology strategy • Improve Enterprise Information Management performance • Aid efforts to improve business performance through enterprise information solutions • Lead data architects and data engineers • Secure data and analytic assets • Enable effective data and analytics governance • Engage in an end-to-end approach to deliver data while leveraging all assets • Mentor high performing team and provide technical oversight

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years Data Warehousing Platforms/tools (Data Models, ETL/ELT solutions) • At least five (5) years Healthcare domain experience • Demonstrated understanding of enterprise data warehouse, big data, BI & analytics, content management and data management (healthcare preferred) • In-depth experience of designing and implementing complex data systems • Extensive experience in dimensional data modeling, such as star schemas, snowflakes, normalized and de-normalized models, handling slow-changing dimensions/attributes • Experience with Healthcare data models like EPIC Clarity/Caboodle, OMOP, IBM, Teradata etc., as well custom models. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally • Expertise in data modeling software such as DataVaults or other comparable tool. • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. • Experience utilizing Agile methodology • Basic knowledge of data integration tools: dbt, Informatica, MS Integration Services etc. • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personas and make complex ideas understood. • Knowledge of big data toolset: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, sqoop etc. • Ability to code with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, groovy etc. • Demonstrate the ability to work well with others and exhibit leadership and ownership • Have a track record of remaining unbiased toward specific technologies or vendors. • Organizationally savvy, with a good understanding of the enterprise's political climate and how to navigate, influence and persuade political waters. • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations. • Ability to comprehend quickly the functions and capabilities of new technologies. • Demonstrated understanding of enterprise data warehouse, big data, BI & analytics, content management and data management
