Description

• Help us build great software that protects our customers around the world from an ever-increasing number of cyber attacks! • Software Engineering Interns will work directly on Vectra's platform to build or enhance features that help solve customer problems. • Work collaboratively in a team with other interns and senior engineers • You will have ownership of a high-impact project for the length of the internship • Learn how to deliver software end-to-end including understanding builds, automated tests, deployments, monitoring, and alerting.

Requirements

• Current student working on BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science (or similar engineering subject) • Experience with object oriented programming and data structures • Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments • Experience with a source control system, preferably Git • Internship is in the summer only • Knowledge of networking and security fundamentals • Understanding of databases beyond basic queries and interaction • Experience with REST APIs • Performance tuning skills
