Requirements

• A minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Android application development is essential. • Application Portfolio: A proven track record of delivering and maintaining Android applications, especially those involving map functionalities. • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Android development technologies, including Java or Kotlin, Android Studio, and related frameworks such as: • Android Jetpack components (e.g., LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room) • Retrofit for RESTful APIs • Dagger for dependency injection • Firebase for app analytics and cloud services • Coroutines for asynchronous programming • Experience with Mapping Technologies: Strong familiarity with mapping technologies and SDKs, including Google Maps and Mapbox, is highly desirable. • Multi-Threading and Synchronization: Expertise in multi-threading and synchronization techniques within Android applications. • Memory Management and Battery Optimization: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with advanced memory management techniques are essential. • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Agile Development: Experience working in Agile development environments. • Release Management: Expertise in managing the end-to-end release process. • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills. • Innovation and Adaptability: A mindset of continuous learning and innovation. • Leadership and Mentorship: A commitment to mentoring and developing team members. • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, MCA or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
