Description

• The Manager of Compliance is responsible for ensuring continuity in the daily operations of the organization’s risk mitigation and compliance programs in alignment with legal standards, industry regulations, and internal policies. • This person will need an advanced skillset reviewing contracts, identifying compliance requirements, and developing responsive compliance systems. • They will support regular audit processes, provide support for the compliance/risk management "help desk," and help foster a culture of privacy awareness, risk mitigation, and compliance throughout the organization. • Additionally, they will collaborate with internal functions on Information Technology Operations, Finance & Administration, and other VentureWell business units, and liaise with external regulators in a manner that meets VentureWell's requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred. A master's degree in law or related field or a JD would be a plus. • Minimum of five years experience in a compliance role, ensuring organizational contract compliance and providing guidance to stakeholders • Demonstrated expertise assessing contracts for contractual obligations and risk • Strong ability to project manage ongoing compliance priorities • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance issues in a clear and concise manner • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, staying abreast of the latest advancements and trends in regulations that affect compliance • Experience in the non-profit sector, particularly with federal grants and contracts, is a strong advantage including knowledge of 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Experience with Other Transaction Authority (OTA) a plus.
