📋 Description
• Develop comprehensive crude oil terminal and pipeline computer hydraulic models. • Perform steady state and transient simulations and conduct hydraulic analysis on the results. • Perform computer-simulated leak tests and forced parameter tests. • Troubleshoot problems with pipeline equipment and operability. • Develop control loop tuning parameters based on process control optimization. • Offer cost-effective solutions to pipeline hydraulic designs and transient surge mitigation strategies. • Write, review and develop technical reports in a concise and timely manner. • Follow proper engineering practices. • Adhere to all relevant internal and external standards. • Initiate meetings, correspondence, and discussions with clients.
🎯 Requirements
• You are an Engineering Student with fundamental academic and work experience in computational fluid dynamics. • Desire to learn to build, maintain, and simulate various hydraulic models. • Tech Stack: Python, R, VBA, AFT Fathom, AFT Impulse, DNV Synergi Pipeline Simulator, ATMOS Leak Detection. • Skills: Data Visualization, Algorithmic Problem Solving, Hydraulic Software Simulations, Process Control Loop Tuning, Statistical Analysis, Technical Writing, Technical Documentation.
