Description

• Company Description: Veracross provides SaaS-based School Information Systems (SIS) designed for independent K-12 schools worldwide. • Seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with Vue.js expertise for a new product. • Responsible for creating and optimizing web applications for various stakeholders. • Collaborate with engineers to align solutions with business and technical objectives. • Report to Software Architect and impact architectural decisions for front-end integration.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Vue.js (5+ years) and in-depth understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks. • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Vuex or Pinia) for managing application state in Vue.js. • Experience with Tailwind CSS as the utility-first framework to build responsive, component-based layouts • Strong understanding of component-based architecture, SPA (Single Page Application) development, and responsive design principles. • Deep understanding of security and accessibility best practices, including techniques to prevent OWASP Top 10 attacks and compliance with WCAG standards. • Experience with automation and testing frameworks like Cypress JS testing library to ensure code reliability and maintainability. • Experience with RESTful APIs integration, understanding how to integrate front-end applications with backend services. • Implement and manage front-end build processes, including asset bundling, minification, and versioning to streamline deployment and improve performance. • Proficiency with Git, for managing source code. • Expertise in breaking down tasks and estimating development efforts. • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach to development. • Advantageous to have had exposure to PHP and the Laravel Framework.
