Description

• Verdani Partners seeks a highly motivated Energy Engineer for remote technical services team. • Role involves data analysis, ESG strategies, and supporting global real estate clients. • Primary tasks include ENERGY STAR benchmarking and environmental performance data analysis. • Responsibilities also involve conducting energy audits and various sustainability reports. • Candidates must have superior communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering, Environmental Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Engineering Technology, other related fields • Master’s Degree: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Field other related fields • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) • LEED Green Associate or LEED Accredited Professional – EBOM • Certified Energy Manager or Certified Energy Auditor • Passion for sustainability and green buildings • A self-motivator with a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to effectively work with a team • Detail-oriented mindset • Experience using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager (preferred) • Knowledge of sustainability reporting initiatives such as GRESB, CDP, UNPRI, etc. (preferred) • Knowledge of green building certifications such as LEED, Fitwel, WELL, IREM (preferred) • Experience conducting energy audits (ASHRAE Level I,II,III) (preferred)
