Description

• Perform daily accounting duties in accordance with US GAAP. • Prepare financial statements and maintain support schedules for various entities. • Manage a portfolio of clients and develop effective relationships. • Assist in managing team workflow and provide coaching as a senior member of the team. • Lead the preparation of new entities and coordinate year-end tax and audit activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting, tax or audit experience, ideally in real estate or fund administration. • BS/BA in Accounting, with a strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Advanced Excel skills. • Outstanding communication skills over the phone and via email. • Strong track record in building and managing client relationships, with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects. • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately judge when to make decisions versus escalating them. • Ability to learn on the job quickly, apply learning to clients and recommend solutions to issues. • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes and procedures in a rapidly changing environment. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
