β’ Villa creates housing that empowers homeowners and helps communities flourish. β’ We build high-quality prefab accessory dwelling units in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible. β’ Weβre looking for a Project Site Designer to lead site design efforts across a range of projects. β’ Ideal candidate will work well in a startup environment, be self-motivated, and have good attention to detail. β’ This role is for someone who is passionate about site planning at all scales, particularly for large-scale entitlement and land development.
β’ Degree in Architecture or related field required, or 5-10 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. β’ Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Workspace, Bluebeam software and ProCore. β’ Expertise in all phases of architectural document production and understanding the relationship between drawings and specifications. β’ Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages, from early feasibility studies to full permitting and construction documentation. β’ Understanding and application of CA and CO Zoning structures, ADU law, applicable building codes, and accessibility requirements. β’ Understanding of building construction systems, means and methods, materials, and industry- associated standards is expected. β’ Understanding of zoning laws, land use regulations, and entitlement processes, particularly for large-scale development is a plus. β’ Specialized experience with multifamily residential, PropCo, and single family modular/manufactured homes a plus. β’ Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing system design is a plus. β’ Comfort with ambiguity, and a willingness to take on tasks outside of your comfort zone. β’ Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment and adaptable to changing priorities. β’ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to clearly communicate is a must.
