Description

• Develop and optimize back-end components using Python, focusing on Django • Manage and optimize the PostgreSQL database within the Django framework • Integrate front-end components developed using React into the application architecture • Manage authentication processes and security protocols using Auth0 or similar platforms • Collaborate with SDETs to ensure comprehensive testing and maintenance of the LOS • Write clean, reusable, and efficient code that meets industry standards • Mentor junior developers and help refine company policies and development guidelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Backend Development, with strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django • 5+ years of experience managing PostgreSQL databases within the Django framework, including design, query optimization, and performance tuning • 5+ years of experience integrating with front-end frameworks, particularly React, to build a cohesive Loan Origination System • Knowledge and experience with authentication protocols, including managing and implementing authentication through OKTA CIC/Auth0 or similar platforms • Solid understanding of server-side templating languages and their implementation • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and RESTful API design and integration • Solid understanding of Python’s threading limitations and experience with multi-process architecture • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent • Ability to use standard office equipment; printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, and other applicable equipment as needed
