We view this as a source of strength for us and your job is to help us make it even better. • The Vice President of Supply Chain Planning, as a key contributor to the Operations Leadership Team (OLT), will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes, including supply chain planning, customer supply chain (aka customer service), logistics & warehousing, and the application of ERP (processes and systems) within Operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of food industry supply chains, strong leadership experience, and the ability to drive performance improvements across all supply chain functions while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction. • This position will play a crucial role in developing, executing, and managing supply chain strategies while ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and exceptional delivery to our customers. • As a key member of the operations leadership team, you will work cross-functionally with other departments to enhance operations and support growth.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred). • 12+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the food industry. • Experience leading and developing a large team of supply chain professionals across IBP, Supply Chain planning, Customer Supply Chain, and Logistics. • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically for meetings and to visit warehouses, production facilities, and logistics hubs, etc. • Proven expertise in supply chain planning, logistics, warehousing, customer service, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O). • Strong understanding of the food industry’s unique supply chain challenges, including perishable goods, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement actionable insights. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. • You’re no hero – You know the power of teamwork and celebrate the work of others before your own. • You give a sh*t – You believe in acting like an owner and making Vital Farms a place to be proud of. • You raise the standards – You know growth can be hard, but you strive to improve yourself and others each day. • You can walk in someone else’s boots – You seek to understand other’s viewpoints and think that you get to better answers by sitting on the same side of the table. • You don’t walk on eggshells – You’re not afraid to leave the bullsh*t behind and have honest conversations.
