📋 Description
• Drive manufacturing of MOPA lasers and systems • Lead and supervise MOPA laser manufacturing • Own the process of developing, planning, executing, and reporting manufacturing processes • Interface directly with customers in establishing product specifications, quality, and execution plans • Develop new methods and protocols to accelerate product and component failure modes • Track and correct failures for products in NPI process and in normal production • Ensure automated data collection and control of instruments • Report data and analysis • Publish results to the business unit
🎯 Requirements
• Continuous improvement • Knowledge of MOPA Laser, YAG, lasers for material processing, high power lasers, pulsed lasers, ultrafast lasers is a must • Ability to drive a team and work across international groups • Strong interpersonal skills • General understanding of optics, fiber optics, electronics, mechanical engineering, and chemistry • Experience with automated data collection • Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate work plans, schedules, resource needs
