📋 Description
• Manage database administration for critical SAP environments. • Install, configure, and apply patches to all databases. • Approve all new database patches and upgrades. • Schedule backup jobs on database servers. • Provide Oracle Database filesystem layout and/or ASM disk sizes. • Perform database backup and/or recovery. • Provide monthly maintenance window support. • Provide emergency production system support (Sev1/Sev2, 24x7).
🎯 Requirements
• Experience working with SAP systems on Oracle database infrastructure is a must. • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience working in SAP environment. • Minimum of 5 - 8+ years of experience with Oracle. • Expert in Database Administration, Oracle installations, upgrades, database refreshes & patching in SAP environment. • Expert in performing backup & recovery, database cloning using RMAN. • Experience in performing table reorganization, rebuilding of indexes & datafiles addition using SAP BRTools. • Expert in Oracle performance & Tuning. • Experience with Linux shell scripting. • Experience in supporting PDB (Pluggable databases) & CDB (Container databases).
