•Design, conduct, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research studies •Understand motivations and segmentation of users •Triangulate data from various sources to generate actionable insights •Collaborate with teams to integrate research findings into strategies •Mentor and guide teammates in research methods •Stay up-to-date with research methodologies •Develop solutions for conducting research in virtual environments •Contribute to data-driven decision-making culture
•Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Science, Statistics) or equivalent professional experience. •Proven experience and impact in a user research role, ideally within the technology or gaming industry. •Strong expertise in designing, conducting, and analyzing surveys, experiments, and other quantitative research methods. •Experience with a range of qualitative methods such as user interviews, contextual inquiry, journey mapping, and usability testing. •Proficient in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) and data visualization tools. •Experience working on products related to virtual worlds or social platforms is a plus, as well as experience in Trust and Safety research. •Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and compelling manner to diverse audiences. •A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a passion for understanding user behavior and improving user experiences.
