Description
• Implement and maintain specialized spatial processing pipelines and algorithms. • Build efficient coordinate transformation and reprojection workflows. • Create robust topology validation and spatial relationship processing systems. • Develop automated spatial feature extraction pipelines. • Implement and optimize spatial indices and query mechanisms. • Create efficient spatial joins and geometric operations. • Maintain spatial reference system transformations and conversions. • Design and implement spatial partitioning strategies. • Build and maintain APIs for spatial operations and queries. • Implement efficient spatial search and proximity analysis capabilities. • Create services for spatial data visualization and mapping. • Develop RESTful endpoints for geospatial operations. • Optimize spatial query performance and geometric operations. • Implement efficient spatial caching strategies. • Fine-tune spatial index configurations and query patterns. • Develop solutions for handling large-scale spatial computations.
Requirements
• 3+ years experience in data engineering, with strong focus on geospatial systems. • Demonstrated expertise in spatial databases and ETL processes. • Experience with geological or scientific data processing is preferred. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, GIS, or related field. • Relevant certifications in spatial databases or geospatial technologies are highly valued. • Advanced expertise in spatial algorithms and computational geometry. • Strong proficiency in PostGIS and spatial database operations. • Expert knowledge of coordinate systems and transformations. • Deep understanding of spatial indexing and optimization. • Experience with vector and raster data processing. • Proficiency in spatial API development and services. • Knowledge of distributed spatial computing. • Experience with spatial caching and optimization. • Proficiency in Python geospatial libraries (GeoPandas, Shapely, Rasterio). • Experience with spatial ETL tools and frameworks.
