Description

• As the Lead Developer - Cloud Infrastructure, you will spearhead the development of our geospatial data management platform. • Design, implement, and optimize a cloud-based data solution capable of handling large, complex, and non-standard geological data. • Ensure that our infrastructure is robust, scalable, and efficient. • Architect, design, and implement scalable cloud infrastructure tailored to manage geological data. • Continuously evaluate and optimize the cloud infrastructure for performance and resilience. • Design and enforce security best practices, including data encryption and access controls. • Set up monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure health and reliability. • Stay updated on cloud technologies and lead integration of new tools. • Document code, processes, and results. • Collaborate with software developers, data engineers, and product managers to translate models into production-ready solutions.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc, in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in an SRE, DevOps or software engineering role • 6+ years of experience with various AWS services and tools including but not limited to storage services, compute and container services, ML services and analytics services. • 6+ years experience using infrastructure-as-code tools to build and manage cloud infrastructure • 6+ years of experience in software development in at least one high-level programming language like Python, Go, Java • Deep understanding of CNCF cloud infrastructure landscape layers from provisioning, orchestration to observability and platform
