📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing SQL databases and queries. • Optimizing existing database structures and stored procedures. • Troubleshooting and resolving complex SQL performance issues. • Performing light to medium database administration tasks. • Refactoring legacy SQL code to improve performance and maintainability. • Implementing and maintaining proper database version control practices. • Collaborating with development teams to ensure optimal database integration. • Monitoring and tuning database performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of SQL Server 2019 and Azure SQL Database. • Advanced proficiency with query profiling, optimization, and indexing strategies. • Strong experience writing and optimizing stored procedures and triggers. • Demonstrated ability to profile and refactor legacy SQL for performance improvements. • Experience with database views, user-defined functions, and complex joins. • Proficiency with Visual Studio 2019 for Integration Services catalogs. • Experience with Business Objects Enterprise (BOE) 4.3. • A deep understanding of database security best practices. • Five or more years of professional SQL development experience. • Experience with light to medium database administration tasks. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures. • Familiar with database monitoring tools. • Experience with database migration and version control. • Excellent documentation practices. • Effective communication skills for explaining complex database concepts.
