β€’ Responsible for leading the financial planning, management, and reporting functions of the organization β€’ Providing strategic financial guidance to senior management β€’ Ensuring the company's financial health and compliance β€’ Optimizing financial performance to support business objectives β€’ Overseeing and building FP&A, accounting and treasury teams β€’ Partnering with leaders across the company to help shape strategies and priorities β€’ Leading, growing, and inspiring a team of seasoned finance professionals β€’ Enabling and delivering Waabi’s strategic and financial goals β€’ Comprehensive budget preparation and oversight β€’ Producing accurate and timely financial reports β€’ Managing cash flow, investments, and banking relationships β€’ Working closely with the leadership on pro-forma modeling, planning, investor communications and fundraising activities β€’ Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements β€’ Identifying and mitigating financial risks β€’ Developing, enhancing, and refining financial systems and procedures

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or equivalent; MBA, CFA, and/or CPA certification preferred β€’ 15+ years of progressive experience in senior finance leadership positions β€’ 10+ years of finance leadership experience preferably within the technology industry in the US or Canada β€’ Comprehensive understanding of financial management, analysis, tools and reporting methodologies β€’ Strong expertise in financial regulations, accounting principles, and taxation β€’ Experience in developing internal controls and financial processes β€’ Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities β€’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail β€’ Experience and excitement in supporting a dynamic, high-growth environment β€’ Adherence to high ethical standards and integrity
