• Help grow, improve, and maintain existing services • Shape future systems by developing new services for WASSHA • Focus on modernizing legacy Django code and deployments • Create more automation to improve existing operations
Requirements
• A degree in computer science or a relevant field • Proven experience in designing and developing APIs • In-depth understanding of transaction and data processing systems • Familiarity with SQL and other database technologies • Working understanding of and interest in SRE related topics and their practical application • Experience managing services end-to-end, from developing to deploying to monitoring • Passion for working in an agile, cross-functional team • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering peers • Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Typescript, Django and Terraform is a very strong plus
