Requirements

• Extensive experience teaching any grade(s) between 6th and 12th grade and the ability to speak to strong relationship-building with diverse students. • Extensive experience writing developmentally appropriate curriculum that builds social-emotional competencies and future-ready skills • Familiarity and comfort with methods of assessing social-emotional learning • Experience designing print and digital curricula for students. Comfort working with designers and engineers is a plus. • Experience designing for diverse groups of people (i.e. students from different socioeconomic backgrounds, cultures, geographies, etc.) • Ability to welcome and appreciate direct feedback and collaboration • Comfortable pivoting quickly to meet the needs of our school partners • A skilled collaborator and communicator comfortable working with other curriculum designers and experts across the product team • Consistent and relentless self-starter who takes initiative while knowing when to ask for support and direction; • Extremely high level of organization is essential • Extremely attentive to detail and nuance in curriculum design • Bonus: Comfort writing curriculum in Spanish and translating curriculum from English to Spanish • Bonus: Experience developing Tier 2 and Tier 3 content/ experience teaching students with disabilities
