• About World Business Lenders (www.wbl.com) • World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding. • This is a Contract/Consultant position. • Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. • The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. • Resumes must be submitted in English. • This position is 100% remote. • Responsibilities: • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements. • Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses. • Collaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze financial information. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles (GAAP). • Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiencies in financial reporting processes. • Other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
• 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field. • Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar preferred. • Experience working with SQL, Power BI, Python preferred • Experience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience preferred • Positive attitude and willingness to learn • Proactive approach and strong work ethic • Excellent attention to detail
