Description
• Lead a team of analysts to assist in preparing tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other tax filings. • Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns. • Support the finance team in tax audits and provide necessary documentation as required. • Maintain tax records and documentation in compliance with local tax laws and regulations. • Research and stay updated on tax regulations and requirements in USA. • Identify tax planning opportunities and assist in implementing tax strategies to optimize tax liability for the company. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax compliance in business operations. • Assist in developing and implementing internal controls related to tax processes. • Provide tax support and guidance to other teams within the organization.
Requirements
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or CPA. • 4+ years of experience in tax planning and compliance, preferably in a multinational organization. • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in the US (required). • Experience working with external tax advisors and handling tax audits. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tax projects. • Ability to manage an accounting team. • US GAAP and audits experience. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. • Fluency in English and Spanish, both oral and written. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt to changing tax regulations and business requirements.
