🎯 Requirements

• J.D. degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school • Active law license in at least one U.S. state, in good standing • Minimum 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney or equivalent experience as a wealth strategist for UHNW clients, with demonstrated expertise in reviewing a wide range of estate planning documents from basic revocable trusts and Wills to GRATs and IDGTs. • Strong understanding of estate and gift tax rules, including Forms 706 and 709 • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with an ability to breakdown and articulate complex legal considerations in layman terms • Proactive and problem-solving mindset with a passion for new areas of business and technology development in fintech and estate planning • Excellent judgment and aptitude for optimization given ambiguous and imperfect information • Ability to manage projects as a resourceful and execution-oriented self-starter, to pivot between projects and competing objectives, to learn quickly and to think creatively • Ability to collaborate with and build strong relationships across departments • Experience with business development • Willingness to travel 3 to 4 times a year to attend company retreat and in-person meetings with customers (U.S. only) • As the need arises, support the Chief Legal Officer to address legal risk in business-centric decisions, including strategic projects, contract negotiations, and product risk management
