Description
• Wealthsimple is on a mission to help everyone achieve financial freedom • Using smart technology to provide transparent and low-cost financial services • The Analytics Developer will support Fraud & AML teams to mitigate financial crime risks • Help identify and stop Fraud & AML trends effectively
Requirements
• Strong SQL skills with 1+ years of applied experience and demonstrated success in a professional setting (those candidates with more experience will be levelled commensurate with their experience) • Ability to develop and tailor data solutions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Seeks to reduce their workload through automation, DRY practices, & building accountability • Comfortable with software engineering best practices like version control and using Git • Intellectually curious and passionate about their work • Preferred qualifications: experience working with Python, dbt, data visualization softwares such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc
