Job Purpose As the Head of Software Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our engineering teams by fostering a culture of continuous delivery and excellence. In this role, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that our teams deliver high-quality solutions with efficiency and consistency. More importantly, you will be a champion for the growth and development of our engineers, creating a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. Your leadership will not only guide the technical execution of projects but also inspire and mentor our teams, helping them to reach their full potential. You will work closely with our engineers to understand their challenges and provide the architectural leadership and support needed to design and implement effective solutions. Requirements

Effective at managing through others Foster a diverse and inclusive engineering culture Champion a culture of psychological safety Strong business acumen Experience in leading distributed and remote teams Exceptional attention to detail Excellent presentation skills and influencing Excellent organisation and time management skills Able to communicate and/or present credibly and effectively at all levels; internally and externally Ability to manage significant organisational change Proven track record product development Experience with data-driven decision making Expert software architecture knowledge, particularly in building SaaS platforms Strong knowledge of building highly scalable, reliable, and configurable software in AWS Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices Experience with security best practices in a regulated industry Deep understanding of regulatory compliance in Financial Services Understanding of AI and machine learning applications in FinTech Knowledge of algorithms and data structures, particularly in the financial services domain Demonstrate Wealth Wizards Core Values (PEARH)
