• Grounded in a talent-centric mindset, Maker Lab is a marketing agency designed to build decentralised technology-led agency teams, rooted in collaboration with clients from the ground up. • Maker Lab supports clients across the technology, entertainment, financial services, and payments industries. • You’ll be responsible for managing the client’s APAC social media agency and work with their Global Social team to bring innovative and local ideas to life. • You will partner with the agency to build out monthly content plans and activation ideas. • You will collaborate with growth marketing, content, designer advocates and the global social team to develop localised content that resonates with diverse audiences. • This role is perfect for a social media enthusiast who has a deep understanding of digital trends in the region. • Collaborate with the agency to develop innovative social media strategies and manage the day-to-day social media content calendar. • Lead the preparation and presentation of social media quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with agency partners. • Stay ahead of social media trends and insights within the JAPAC region.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in a tech or creative industry. • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends in Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore and India. • Experience with content creation tools such as Figma or Adobe Suite. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with social media analytics tools. • Passion for design, content, video production, storytelling and community building. • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in Japanese or Korean as a second language to cover projects across APAC.
