Description

• webAI is a software company building a decentralized AI development platform. • Seeking an experienced Senior Rust Engineer to join our engineering team. • Design, implement, and maintain distributed systems that are scalable, reliable, and efficient. • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists. • Optimize system performance and implement strategies to improve system performance. • Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of distributed systems. • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience writing production-grade Rust applications. • Strong background in systems architecture and design patterns for scalable, resilient applications. • Deep knowledge of distributed system architectures, including microservices, data consistency models, and messaging systems (e.g., Apache Kafka, MQTT). • Strong understanding of low-level networking protocols, threading, asynchronous programming, and Rust concurrency models.
