📋 Description
• As our first SRE hire, we are seeking someone to build out Operant’s SRE roadmap and functions that help keep our platforms and services resilient and secure. • We’re in business to secure the modern world. • Operant’s unique technology solves several of the biggest problems in modern cybersecurity. • Protecting applications across every layer of the cloud native stack from infra to APIs, and data to AI. • Passionate about bringing state of the art technological innovations from Operating Systems/Distributed Systems/AI to the world of cloud native security. • Build and lead the Devops/SRE functions for the company. • Adapt SRE practices and processes quickly to scale with a fast growing startup and product.
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years experience of being in an active hands-on SRE role in a fast paced engineering org building SaaS/cloud-native products and services • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Golang, and Python • Knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their automation toolchains • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a remote team • BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or similar equivalent industry experience is preferred
