Description
• Coordinate and participate in the programming, implementation, testing, and support of web-based projects • Develop data-driven web applications, websites, and mobile apps • Consult with clients and the account team • Debug and problem-solve across open-source and mobile platforms • Percentage breakdown: 45% maintenance and debugging, 40% building new functionality, 10% consulting with team members and clients, 5% planning and quoting new functionality
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline preferred • Fluent in English (written and verbal) • Strong knowledge of database design and troubleshooting • Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and best practices • At least 2+ years of working web development experience • Solid project-level experience with at least one open-source CMS platform • Knowledge of web-based programming languages, mobile app development, and OOP • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services • Familiarity with standard compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Comfortable with Git Version control and package management • Browser testing abilities using developer tools • Familiarity with e-commerce methodologies • Previous experience in a development firm/agency is a plus • Reliable, high-speed internet access required
