Description

• Coordinate and participate in the programming, implementation, testing, and support of web-based projects • Develop data-driven web applications, websites, and mobile apps • Consult with clients and the account team to ensure effective use of technologies • Debug and problem-solve across multiple platforms • Breakdown of responsibilities: - 45% maintenance and debugging - 40% building new functionality - 10% consulting with team members and clients - 5% planning and quoting new functionality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline preferred • Fluent in English (written and verbal) • Strong knowledge of database design and troubleshooting • Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and best practices • 2+ years of working web development experience • Solid project-level experience with at least one open-source CMS platform • Experience in web-based programming languages such as JavaScript and HTML • Experience in mobile app development and/or React Native • Familiarity with Node.js, Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services • Proficiency in OOP and procedural programming methodologies • Knowledge of standard-compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Experience with CSS and JS frameworks • Version control knowledge (e.g., Git) • Experience with package management and task runners • Ability to perform browser testing • Previous development firm/agency environment is a plus • TensorFlow and Machine Learning experience is a plus • Reliable, high-speed internet access required
